This is a circular shaped iron sword guard with an outer rim of gold and copper alloy. A hammered pattern can be seen on the surface. A hole on the right side is for inserting Kogai (metal rods). Two small holes on the lower part are for passing a string of the sword through. It is quite a simple piece, but it shows a tasteful feature of the iron sword guard.
