Ottoman enamelled sword, with wooden hilt. Its curved blade, wider at the point of the tip, bears modest engraved decoration, which becomes richer, with elaborate gold arabesques, towards to the point of the guard. The hole in the hilt was obviously used to hang some decorative chain or tassel. The silver scabbard of the sword, which is dotted with detailed floral decoration in the savat technique, is also of excellent craftmanship.
