Born in Porto in 1964 and lives in Maia, where she has a personal studio. Her works establish, by rule, closely related topics that fascinate her, such as Classic Mythology and Literature, and her latest paintings address the world of Fernando Pessoa, in a plurality of constructions, resorting to the charismatic figure of the poet and certain objects of significant iconic value. The appeal of the contemporaneity guided the author for a recreation of traditional images of the poet, which she tried to coat with a halo of modernity, translated in the expression of certain shades and stimulated by the challenge of unraveling imagetically the literary world where this major character moved.
This painting also seeks to reflect the spaces / times in Pessoa, enrolling on it an autumnal allusion representative of the fleetingness of life of the poet. The chosen colors also point to the idea of changing state, referring a passage, a time of final acceptance of the disappointments and of the world little pleasures, a theme so close to the author. This painting is also on the cover of the album In Quietudes.
Since 2001 she has held solo exhibitions and has collaborated on many other group exhibitions of painting in cities such as Maia, Guimarães, Gaia or in noble spaces of the city of Porto, such as the Medical Association in 2004 or the UNESCO Center of Porto in 2005, and have been awarded some prizes.
