Choreographer: Nacho Duato

The ballet 'Synaphai' is the result of the thoughts and ideas that had been keeping choreographer Nacho Duato occupied for a while, before creating the ballet in December 1985.
He wanted to make a choreography about fear and insecurity, and evoke feelings of threat and discomfort. Feelings that characterize this time of nuclear weapons, unemployment, anonymity, and insecurity.
