Young Tadeusz Fijewski got the role in “The Call of the Sea” due to the contest in the “ABC” journal which he won. What is more interesting, when he was sixteen he played an eleven-year-old boy. In any case he looked young for a long time, so even as a twenty-year-old he played teenagers.
