After Tadeusz Kantor’s death, two monuments in the form of chairs were erected; their design was consistent with the artist’s original sketches. In 1995, the Tadeusz Kantor Foundation had a giant eleven-metre-high concrete chair put up in Hucisko by Krakow, next to a house designed by the artist. A nine-metre-high concrete chair was also set up in Rzeźnicza Street in Wrocław in 2011.
