Grenville Davey's installation 'Tail Spin Recovery' features 35 copies of a photograph of a RAF fighter pilot flying a Spitfire. Davey installed them around the room as if showing the aircraft entering into a tail spin, navigating throughout the space and finally finding balance and control, all the while, the pilot maintains his composure. The piece echoes some of the experiences of dealing with a mental health diagnosis and speaks of resilience and hope.
