A scene of the traditional Shinto ritual known as Yokagura. The third dance is called the Totori no Mai (“The Dance of the Door-opening”). In this dance, Tajikarao opens the door to the cave where Amaterasu was hiding and goes in, and is a heroic, powerful dance. This particular dance was powerfully performed at Futagami Shrine by a 15-year old boy.
