Takhat are generally used in commercial spaces for the owners to sleep and rest during the daytime. This simple takhat was kept in one of the shops in Chhara village. The owner had provided sheesham wood, from a tree in his own farm, for the carpenter to make this takhat. A mattress and a pillow were laid out when the takhat was used for sleeping.
