Takhat (Bench)

This six-legged takhat was placed in a verandah of a chaupal for the men to sit, rest and play cards. It was believed to be more than fifty years old and was made of teak wood. Apart from the original metal rods, a triangular wooden piece was recently fixed between the legs and the frame as an additional support.
