Takhtposh (Bench)

This takhtposh made from wood was recorded at a gurdwara in Jhanda Kalan village. Takhtposh are sometimes used for purposes other than seating or sleeping, as seen in the featured example. Here, it was used as a surface to dry utensils placed in baskets.
