Symbol to Logo comes as a reconstruction of The 1st and The 2nd Polish Exhibitions of Graphic Symbols that were held in 1969 and 2015. Rene presents the unknown history of logo design in Communist Poland as a reminder of the forgotten stars of Polish design. This report shows how logos and visual identities have changed since the post-war years to the present days, evolving from individual symbols to complex visual identities, in a metaphor of the history of Polish society over the past seventy years.
