Tamaraws graze freely and protected within Mounts Iglit-Baco National Park.The tamaraw are related to buffalos, but are distinguished by their smaller stature and straight horns. The Bubalus mindorensis is an endangered species found only in Mindoro, Philippines where they can freely access foraging grounds, water, and cover.
