Mosaics, stained glass, fashions, hooked rugs, and finally - the most rewarding of all - quilting, have as their essence, glorious color. Color, paired with the sensuous quality of fabrics, exerts an irresistible tug on the thousands of us who enjoy making quilt art. In addition to colors and textural qualities, quilts have an added appeal to me - I love it that they serve a functional purpose as well!"
