The Tasman Starling is an extinct species that was found on Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island in the Southwest Pacific. The starlings on the two different islands were considered different subspecies. There are three specimens of the Lord Howe Island subspecies and eight specimens of the Norfolk Island subspecies in Wold Museum.
