The currents of life, the stone, the sea and the feeling of the warmth of the sun formed the artistic attitude of Petar Lubarda, to summarize his understanding of the universe in a dramatic charge. In the search and research of materials, he was among the first to introduce enamel paint, not for technological change but to emphasize the structure of the composition and to draw the impulsive glow of the main figure on the surface of the painting - in this case the bull, mythical, symbolically, the strongest animal of our region. The painting belongs to the cycle of the Zodiac painted by Lubarda upon his return from India. The two-dimensional bull figure grinds everything in front of him. It smokes, its surface burns, its skin burns the eyes of the observer with burning cinnabar, it chases, snorts, tramples, burns and leaves behind a burnt earth with the message that you can leave all hope when you are in front of this boiling and insatiable energy!
