Mario Banushi’s Taverna Miresia – Mario, Bella, Anastasia transformed personal memory into a ritual of remembrance and catharsis. Centered around a neon restaurant sign from a family-owned taverna in Tirana, the performance wove fragments of childhood memories, unspoken emotions, and nostalgia into a poetic farewell to Banushi’s late father. Through evocative imagery and intimate storytelling, the production explored themes of loss, identity, and the enduring bonds of family in a deeply moving theatrical experience.
