Habōki is a feather duster used for dusting off and purifying braziers or sunken hearths in the tea ceremony. The tip of this tea scoop curves slant asymmetrically.
The storage tube of the scoop has the ink inscription, “釣玄” (Shakugen), which is a pseudonym for the creator, Dōkan.
