This is a lacquered bamboo tea scoop with a round-shaped tip and a slanted end. It is characterized by the following: nakafushi (knot in the middle), shallow futahi (two grooves), marutame (gentle curved bowl), and sugoshi (straight back).
The lower part of the storage tube is roughly shaved. The upper part has two characters: “旬雨” (Gentle Spring Rain), written in ink.
