The tea service consists of six cups, six saucers, six plates, a platter, a sugar bowl, a small milk jug and a teapot. Each individual part of the set was designed in the modern Art Deco style (evident in the geometric shapes, curved handles and spouts) and strikingly glazed in green and orange. The teapot handle is made of wickerwork. This design strongly refers the avant-garde modernist designs of Western Europe in the 1930s.
The tea set was manufactured by the company Kadar Ltd Ceramics near Haifa, and marketed by the Jerusalem-based company Hazak.
