The gold tegu, also known as golden tegu, common tegu, black tegu, Colombian tegu and Tiger Lizard (on Trinidad), is a species of tegu. Its old scientific name (synonym) was Tupinambis nigropunctatus but it has since renamed to Tupinambis teguixin. (from Wikipedia)
