A day after the murders at Stringy Bark Creek, Inspecting Superintendent Nicolson, from the Benalla police station, wrote this telegram for the police at Jamieson, to distribute amongst other local police stations. An annotation overleaf by an officer states that he distributed 50 reward posters over Jamieson, Woods Point, Gaffney and Darlingford.
