A telegram sent by Mikhail Tal from Riga to Vasily Smyslov in Moscow on April 27, 1957. Smyslov had just won the world championship match against Botvinnik by 12½–9½.

Translation to English:
“Moscow. To the World Chess Champion Smyslov Vasily Vasilievich.
From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on a wonderful victory. Misha Tal.” The telegram was sent at 23:30 on the day of the last, 22nd game of the World Championship Match 1957
