A loom width twill woven ikat panel depicting elephants, buildings (temples/shrines), birds and cats, in red, gold, green and white on a purple ground. The design was created using resist dyed weft elements woven on a bark blue/black warp. Wide un-patterned red bands border each side of the scene; narrow un-patterned red borders run warp-wise along the top and bottom of the scene. There is a black stamp at the lower proper right corner, "J-A-C", which is surrounded by a black rectangular border. A green paper tag with black ink manuscript inscription, "Sampot Cambodge IndoChina Tie-dyed yarn 1932 P", is attached next to the stamp. The tag's red cotton string is stitched through the selvedge edge.
