Templo Virgenes, El Lago Titicaca: Isla de la Luna

The islands hold Incan ruins dedicated to the sun god Inti, and to the first Incan ruler Manco Copac. This temple was actually a convent of sorts. Women who dedicated their lives to the worship of Inti were secluded here.
