Rectangular, raised decoration, featuring scene of the Tempatation of St. Anthony. He kneels at wooden table and bench, in monk's robes, before open prayer book, with skull and crucifix in hands. Behind him is woman in low cut dress with beer stein in left hand and drinking glass in right. Scene situated in brick and stone room. Left side of box, and thin, flat lid have square nail head-like decoration on surfaces. Striker on right side is puncuated on top and bottom by same nail head decoration. An additional striker is on bottom. Reverse features textured, honeycomb-like surface. Lid hinged on side, near top.
