Homemade white cotton dress opening all down the front. The full skirt is cut on the cross and pleated around the waist line. The fitted top is sleeveless with a revere collar. The dress is fastened with six large white buttons down the front. The dress is machine stitched with all facings and hems done with hand sewing. This dress is a great example of women's sports wear and post-war self sufficiency in the home in making as many garments as possible.
