Tents on display at Waring & Gillow's War Equipment Factory, White City, Greater London

During the First World War, furniture manufacturers Waring & Gillow produced material for the war effort. Output included ammunition belts, nosebags, protective clothing and tents. Visible in this photograph is the Machinery Hall, built as part of the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908.
