Teol-Baeja is an insulated winter vest (Baeja) with fur (Teol) trimmings that prevailed among women until mid-20th century. It was also worn during the wedding ceremony in the northwestern part of Korea, including Pyeongyang. This Baeja, worn by the late Dr. Seok Juseon (1911~1996) is made of an off-white sookgosa (gauze), lined with rabbit fur and trimmed with dang-mopi(fine fur) along the armhole and hem.
