Tests de retardement incendie sur câble par diverses peintures

At the end of February 1970, CERN's firemen carried out some tests on a new fire-inhibiting paint which proved capable of halting the propagation of the flame along polyethylene cable. Nowadays (2014) such tests are standardised and would not be carried out in the way shown.
