Tetrápodo (Tetrapod) is a work by the Spanish artist Antonio Crespo Foix (Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real, Spain, 1953). Crespo Foix is a sculptor of the ephemeral, of light; he is capable of taking sculpture to the minimum expression through light materials where lightness and weightlessness are key. He manages to represent the ethereal by creating sculptures on the verge of immateriality. A meticulous craftsman, this Spanish artist captures ephemeral materials, such as dandelion heads, and places them within delicate structures, creating the illusion of encased fog or smoke.
