It allows for this specific region of Seoul, Seogye and Jungnim, to be highly susceptible to change followed by current needs and formed into already an area of high adaptability and flexibility. There are apparent evidences and traces of historic and modernizing manifestations of the region. By a newly established yet tested pedestrian network, Seoullo7017, the region turns into perpetual urban fields of motion. 2019 SeoulSTUDIO’s investigation as a collective enabling enterprise both reveals and realizes hidden potential. As a creative practice, our effort precipitates its most productive effects through a finding that is also a founding; its agency lies in neither reproduction nor imposition but rather in uncovering realities previously unseen or unimagined, even across seemingly exhausted grounds.
