Dress and attached shoulder cloth of Thai silk and metal-thread brocade (phaa yok); bead and sequin embroidery by House of Lesage, Paris.
The rich effect of the embroidery on this dress is achieved by combining a wide variety of materials round and leaf-shaped gold beads and faceted clear glass and pearl beads. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit wore this dress in a state baquet given in Their honor, 12 February 1972, hosted by HM Queen Elizabeth II of England and HRH Prince Philip on the the Royal Yacht Britania.
