Thai Siwalai Dress (Gold)

Dress and attached shoulder cloth of silk and metal-thread brocade (phaa yok) bead, and sequin embroidery by House of Lesage, Paris. The four-petal flowers brocaded into the silk have been embroidered setting them off from their surrounding diamond lattice.
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit wore this dress at a dinner hosted by Their Majesties for HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip, Chakri Throne Hall Grand Palace, Bangkok, 10 February 1972.
