The 11th Chun Doo-hwan presidential inauguration

The swearing-in of the president from his inauguration as the 11th Chun Doo-hwan President.
Elected as the eleventh president by the National Council for Unification, Chun Doo-hwan had his inauguration at Jamsil Arena on Sep. 1, 1980. The inaugural ceremony was attended by about 8,800 persons and proceeded in the similar settings and order as before. The ceremony included opening, moment of silence, ceremonial remarks, oath of office, inaugural address, and closing.
