At the start of the new millenium, the National Chopin Piano Competition celebrated its 25th Year Anniversary. Letters of congratulations came from Bill Clinton (President of the United States) and then Florida Governor, Jeb Bush. The 6th National Chopin Piano Competition welcomed 24 contestants to Miami.
