The Beni Putul technique

Beni Putul puppetry employs just the three fingers - the thumb, forefinger and middle finger. The "head" on the middle finger here is the seed of the palymyra fruit, which according to the puppeteers, was the first protoype of the Beni Putul head, because it is in the shape of the human head.
