The Boeing B-47E Stratojet, equipped with a "Sunday punch" to the rear provided by the General Electric Company designed radar-controlled 20 mm tail turret, is capable of tracking and shooting down unseen targets in night or fog. Armament technicians at Boeing's Wichita, Kansas assembly plant make final adjustments on the two cannon which is controlled by an ultra-modern radar and computing system, standard equipment on both the Boeing B-47 and Boeing RB-47E. The turret system is being produced both by GE and the Crosley Corporation.
