"My mother, who is very good at handcrafting, gave me an opportunity to start quilting, and I have been attending quilting class for 10 years. It took me a year and 8 months to design and finish this quilt.

One of the most difficult things about making this quilt was how I could subtly devise tints of colors in order to express transparency. I like making design with great interest in beauty that various colors and shapes create. Besides, I like hand sewing. What I feel most about quilting is not only the flexibility of cloth but also the tenderness and heart of the producer. In future, I would like to make quilts freely, enjoying the colors and patterns of cloth regardless of the genre.”
