York Minster is also known as the Cathedral Church of St Peter. The fabric of the building dates back to the 13th century. The choir was built between circa 1380 and 1418 and the choir screen in circa 1460. This interior view of the choir was taken for the Walter Scott postcard company, which was established in 1905 by the Bradford photographer, Walter Scott (1878-1947).
