This jacket was the actor's own customised by her mother. Following
Bronagh's audition for the part, costume designer Penny Rose asked if it
could be used as costume. Bronagh has held on to these items throughout
the years as a memento of The Commitments.
The Commitments received an Oscar nomination in the Best Editing
category.
