Signed ALMS van Hulle. The portrait depicts Anna Margareta von Haugwitz, married to Carl Gustaf Wrangel in 1640, with her right hand placed on a parapet with the von Haugwitz coat of arms. In the background is a view of the town hall in Nürnberg, where she and her husband stayed during the peace congress 1649-50.

Anselm van Hulle painted several portraits of prominent members of the peace treaties in Münster in 1648.
