The County Fair Season

This illustration entitled, "The County Fair Season", by cartoonist Clifford Berryman, which appeared in the Washington Evening Star on August 25, 1915, depicts Uncle Sam proudly standing beside what was a bumper produced by American farmers in 1915. With war in Europe, it fell on America to produce and provide much of the food needed by European countries.
