The Curve of Destiny (La curva del destino, 2004) is a large-sized artwork of images centring on the representation of an architectural, urban ethos describing the city of New York. Here Lazkano presents the city as a typical geography of coexistence between citizens.
The idealistic and Utopian proposal of this painting represents a constructive stress not completely describing reality, but evaluating something real construed by the artist as fiction, a construction bringing us closer to an idea than to an image.
