'The Dinner Party' is structured on the usual shape of a full-course-dinner, from aperitif through main course, to coffee and port. However, there is nothing usual about the dinner that these four people share. In fact, the evening irrevocably changes each of their lives.
At his wife's suggestion, a senior partner reluctantly invites his opportunistic protege, accompanied, unfortunately, by his personal assistant, to his home. The piece addresses the polarized issues of self-interested manipulation, breaking trust, and blind ambition, disintegrating loyalty.
