The Doubt

Devoted to the subject of religion is the series "Religio-us" from them realized, composed of assemblages that resemble some works by Jeff Koons. In this series, presented at the Venice Biennale 2015, the statuettes souvenirs of the crucifix, the Virgin and the Pope are related with Disney Mickey Mouse dolls, the "Sleeping Beauty" and "Toy Story." The juxtaposition of the sacred characters, loaded generally solemn aura, the colorful world of childhood and boisterous makes these works nscrupulously fun.
