The drawing room in homes of the mid-1850s were the primary gathering space for family and guests. Two fireplaces heated this 20 by 38 foot space which was temporarily divided into two rooms during the early twentieth century.

The walls are covered in the original plaster except in places where neglect and damage from exposure to the elements removed the original finish.
