The Bahamian valet of Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor, clad in a red-jacketed uniform, with four of the Duke's pugs, in the entrance hall of the Duke's home in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris. The room's walls are clad in beige marble, and the floors tiled in large white marble tiles interspersed with small black tiles; a rug woven with rococo vines covers much of the floor. An octagonal mirror in a gilded wood frame hangs over a sideboard carved with an eagle.
