The Earl's Study on the north side of the House is a much more private room, used for personal entertaining. It is less decorative, but still holds a number of great works of furniture. One such piece is the Chippendale Library Desk in the centre of the room; unusual for all the drawer handles around the top of the table, but even more so as the only drawers that work are on the short sides of the desk.
