The East experimental hall partly in use. The photographs were taken during May 1963, looking towards the East bubble-chamber building. To the left is part of the equipment for the proton-proton interaction experiment using the proton beam c₋₇; to the right is the proton beam c₆, used for precise investigations on the secondary particles produced by proton interactions in various targets.
